Stones Of Love And Pain
I build a wall of protection
Made of stones, and love and pain
Some were heavy to put up
And others appeared without me knowing how
They keep me safe
Yet hold me hostage
I cry to know which pain is better
Loneliness can be embraced
Love can only hurt
Hurts will surely crush me
This time I can’t
So for now
I must keep my heart safe
I build this wall around my soul
It is my protection
